“Petit à petit.” Little by little. This phrase became
one of comfort during our time in Benin with the Peace Corps, as it was the staple response any time someone was struggling or facing something difficult.
Little by little it would get better.
Little by little you would learn and understand more.
Little by little you would grow and adapt.
Not only is it a hopeful phrase of grit, but it’s
also one we feel is fitting in the design world.
By taking the time to connect, to empathize,
to create, to test and then to revise– little by
little these steps result in thoughtful campaigns, impactful strategies, and empowered teams.
Behind the vision
A designer and strategist, Laura’s favorite question to ask is, “why?” With over a decade of experience in marketing and strategy, she’s worked across government, social entrepreneurship, and nonprofit sectors to help organizations turn ideas into impact.
Laura has developed and implemented marketing strategies and capacity building plans to support women's education, vulnerable populations, affordable housing, sustainable agriculture, and entrepreneurship initiatives. She received The President’s Volunteer Service Award from Winrock International in 2020 and 2022.
One of her favorite praises ever sung by a client is, “if there’s anything to do or eat there, Laura will find it.” An explorer at heart, her love for trying new things is equally matched by her love of American football (Go Birds!). She brings the same enthusiasm to every project as she believes the best solutions start with curiosity, a willingness to explore, and passion for what you do.
